dc.description.abstract	In the quest of meeting the increasing energy demands keeping in mind the environmental safety demand for clean energy is increasing where solar energy is fastest growing technology. There are many ways in which energy electricity is generated by solar energy and they are discussed in this review but CSP and PV technology is the most commonly used technologies are discussed in details.
